What is Coaching?
Coaching is relational, future-oriented conversations that empower you to reach your goals. These conversations are personalized toward your goal with perspective, feedback and accountability. You set the agenda and the coach helps draw out of you what God is already doing in your life. This is a relationship strong enough to support, challenge and see God is at work in your life.
Cheryl’s key coaching skills are listening and asking with mentoring when necessary. Her key coaching values are that God is already at work in those she coaches, she believes in their own ability to discover what He is doing and she loves to keep them moving toward their God-given goals.
Life Coaching
If you could go to a dream store where dreams are bought and achieved with a money back guarantee, what dream would you buy? What would be the perfect outcome of that dream? What is the worst thing that could happen and could you live with that? What would that dream do for your future? This is where Life Coaching comes in. Life Coaching empowers you through safe, authentic, supportive, encouraging, and transformational conversations to convert a dream into an achievable life goal. This type of coaching is done weekly or biweekly, face to face or on the phone and is very energizing and empowering. Every client will receive a Right Path Personality test.
Ministry Coaching
Ministry Coaching is the same as life coaching except the agenda is helping leaders stay on track, tackle challenges, and accomplish ministry goals. Ministry Coaching offers transformational and relational support and continued leadership development for ministry leaders. Ministry Coaching is done face to face and phone conversation for long distance leaders.
Implementation Follow-up Coaching
It has been said that what we take away from workshops is a nice binder of notes to put on the shelf and a mind overwhelmed with all that we have learned. Follow-up coaching is the same as Life Coaching but it is done after a workshop to further equip and assist you to immediately put into practice the things you have learned. Experience is everything. Follow-up coaching quadruples the success of any workshop.
Lay Coach Training
Your church may need a team of lay-coaches to coach your leaders of small groups, events or other ministries. Lay Coach Training will give them some basics of coaching through instruction, demos, and time to practice with one another. Your team of experienced leaders will learn to use a coach approach to shepherding, equipping, and having oversight of leaders. This is based on Jethro’s advice to Moses in Exodus 18:17-27, “Moses’ father in law said to him, ‘The thing you are doing is not good, you shall surely wear out both yourself and these people who are with you, for the task is too heavy for you, you cannot do it alone.’ ” (Verses 17-18)

Women's Ministry Consulting
Have Cheryl come along side your women’s ministry leaders and teams to mentor and coach them to develop those around them. She will coach, mentor and encourage toward raising effectiveness to both the women of the church and the community.
